Learn to Fly Fish for Free
Our popular—and FREE—Fly Fishing 101 classes are a great way to introduce yourself to the world of fly fishing. Available in-store or online, these fun and engaging classes cover all the fundamentals, including rods and reels, rigging, essential knots, fly selection, and basic casting. When you’re ready for the next step, and once you’ve completed our Fly Fishing 101 class, you’re eligible to participate in our Fly Fishing 201 class, where you'll head out on local waters for the chance to catch your first fish on the fly!
And, as always, we’re here at your local Orvis retail store with the gear and guidance you need to make the most of every day out on the water.

Free Trout Unlimited Membership
Each FF101 student will receive a free one-year Trout Unlimited Membership, a $35 value. Over the past 10 years, we’ve signed up over 10,000 new members with TU, whose mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
